1. Tassels: Make each of 6 tassels from the assorted yarns as follows: Cut a 2 1/2" square from sturdy cardboard. Wrap the yarn around the cardboard 12 times. Cut a 10" piece of matching yarn. Thread this under the center of the loops of wrapped yarn and tie a knot. This becomes the tassel hanger. Slide the loops off the cardboard and pull them together with the tie at the top. Cut another 10" piece of matching yarn for the wrap. Begin to wrap around the loops 1/2" from the top, securing the end with your wraps. Wrap at least 8-10 times. Thread the end into the needle and insert the needle under the wrap and pull tight to secure it. Cut the bottom of the loops open and trim to make them even.
2. Using the needle, pull the hangers of the tassels through the bottom of the purse and knot on the inside of the bag.
3. Cut three pieces of different yarns approximately 13" long. For each stripe, thread the yarn into the needle and knot one end. Come up through the flap at the left where you will place a flower and go down through flap at the right edge and knot. Using another length of yarn in the needle, and working through the flap, tack the stripe in place every 1/2".
4. Tack the three wool flowers in place with thread and a sewing needle.
