  • Jazzed-Up Scarf

    Designed By Dimensions Design Team

Going for the exclusive boutique look with your accessories? Jazz up a pretty scarf with some added embellishments like woolen balls, crystal beads and charms, and you have a look like no one else! Take a look at what we did...

NOTE: You will need 2 packs of felt balls.

1. Collect all your embellishments and decide how you want to divvy them up. We attached all of ours to the scarf fringe, alternating the felt balls with the crystals and charms.

2. Sew the felt balls to the fringe as follows: thread the needle through a bead and tie a knot at the end so the bead cannot be pulled loose from the thread. Next, insert the needle through the center of the striped ball, through the fringe, and knot. Work back and forth to repeat this process two more times and knot securely to finish.

3. To attach beads and metal charms to the fringe, thread 7" of beading wire into the needle then through the fringe knot. Remove the needle. Place both ends of the beading wire together. Thread a silver crimp onto the beading wire and pull to the top to create a loop. Pinch the crimp with the pliers to secure the wire.

4. You can also create strings of crystals: thread the desired number of crystal beads onto a piece of beading wire. Thread another silver crimp onto the wire and pinch together to secure. Cut away any leftover wire.
