Directions:
1. Download and print out the Bird Scarf Patterns. Cut out four leaves and one wing from the printed fabrics. Cut out one bird from the felt.
2. Lay out your design on the scarf and pin in place.
3. Attach the wing to the bird using buttonhole stitch and red thread. Attach the bird to the scarf using back stitch and yellow-orange thread. Attach several seed beads in a cluster for the eye of the bird.
4. Using stem stitch and the brown yarn, stitch the branches across the bottom of the scarf. Attach the leaves to the end of the stems using buttonhole stitch and brown thread. Run a line of back stitch up the middle of the leaf in brown thread.
