  • Xray Skull Card

    Designed By Clare Howell

Treat your friends to a creepy Halloween card featuring a stamped skull image where a spider has built its web—sends shivers up the spine in a ghoulishly fun kind of way!

Directions:

1. Fold an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of dark brown cardstock in half to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" top-folding card.

2. Take a scrap piece of cardstock and place it on the stamping surface. (The stamping surface is a soft mat that accentuates the stamp details, creating a crisp and even result). Since the first image that you stamp may not be a perfect image, we recommend always doing a testing stamping. If you get into the habit of doing this each time you stamp, you will achieve a perfect image every time. We also recommend that you tap the ink pad gently onto the stamp rather than the stamp onto the ink pad. Do your test stamping—this teaches you how much pressure to apply to obtain a nice image.

3. Stamp the skull image onto orange cardstock, then trim to the shape. Mat it onto black cardstock with a 1/8" border, then mat again onto orange cardstock with the same width border. Adhere the assembled panel to the center of the card front.

4. Add a gem to the spider on the skull to form its body. Add a glitter spider in the lower left corner as shown.
