Directions:
7" Hoop
1. Cut a piece of fabric 10" square.
2. Use the earthtones inks to stamp random doily images on the fabric in the center area—images can be overlapped and extend past the area that will show in the hoop.
3. Remove the outer ring of the hoop and center the fabric over the inner ring. Replace the outer ring and tighten until the fabric is held tautly in the hoop.
4. Trim the fabric on the back close to the outer ring edge.
5" Hoop
1. Cut a piece of fabric 8" square.
2. Stamp the Mod flower image in fire orange ink from the primary ink set to create a pattern as shown.
3. Following the line of the Mod Flower on the right side, fill in the desired area with stencil paint.
4. Remove the outer ring of the hoop and center the fabric over the inner ring. Replace the outer ring and tighten until the fabric is held tautly in the hoop.
5. Sew assorted buttons to the painted area of your design using ivory thread.
6. Tighten the fabric in the hoop if necessary. Trim the fabric on the back close to the outer ring edge.
3" Hoop
1. Cut a piece of fabric 5" square.
2. Stamp random flower images on the fabric using raspberry ink from the reds & purples ink set.
3. Remove the outer ring of the hoop and center the fabric over the inner ring. Replace the outer ring and tighten until the fabric is held tautly in the hoop.
4. On a scrap piece of fabric, stamp the owl image in navy blue from the earthtones ink set. Trim the fabric about 1/16" from the image and fray the fabric a little.
5. Stitch the owl to the fabric along the outer edge of image with dark blue thread.
6. Tighten the fabric in the hoop if necessary. Trim the fabric on the back close to the outer ring edge.
