  • SG Double Deck Card

    Designed By Jennifer Brown

Stack the deck in your favor using our Stamping Gear and Elegant Suit Cling Stamp Set! This intriguing layered card would make a great card party invitation.

Directions:

1. Download the General Guidelines, Tips, & Techniques for helpful information on using the Stamping Gear.

2. Fold a 9 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of the lime green cardstock in half to create a side-folding card.

3. Adhere a slightly small piece of warm grey cardstock to the card front.

4. Cut a slightly smaller square from the music sheet. Use the paper distresser or emery board to tear and rough up the edges. Adhere to the center of the card front. Now it’s time to play with the Stamping Gear!

5. We recommend that you experiment with your Stamping Gear on newsprint or white copy paper using the images you plan to use to see how they overlap. Try different placement of the stamp on the paddle or different spacing on the wheel or cog to see the results—there are no rules, just what appeals to you. You’ll love trying new combinations!

6. You will use the striped paper and the inside of the Stamping Gear round wheel for all your stamping on this card. Create the outer wheel using the club stamp (foot to the outside of the stamped pattern) and dark grey ink; stamp in every slot of the wheel. Cut out the circle and edge it in dark grey ink. Color in the areas as shown with the dark grey colored pencil. Adhere the circle to the center of the card front.

7. Create the second pattern with the diamond stamp (small diamonds to the outside of the stamped pattern) and dark grey ink; stamp in every other slot of the wheel. Cut the pattern out right to the outline. Color in the areas as shown with the dark grey colored pencil. Adhere the pattern to the center of the card front with 3D-Dots.

8. Create the third pattern with the spade stamp (small spades to the outside of the stamped pattern) and red ink; stamp in every other slot of the wheel. Cut the pattern out right to the outline. Color in the areas as shown with the red colored pencil. Adhere the pattern to the center of the card front with 3D-Dots.

9. Stamp the heart stamp one time with dark grey ink. Carefully cut it out and color in the smallest heart with the red colored pencil. Adhere the heart piece to the center of the card front with 3D-Dots.
