January is always a busy month as we set in motion all the plans for the new year. The big winter CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) tradeshow is not far off and the bustle of activity as we prepare our displays has amounted to a blizzard of bubble wrap and boxes! Somehow, creativity always seems to crank up yet another notch, and as I watched the Inkadinkado displays being made, I was absolutely amazed at what displays you can create out of paper!
I can clue you in to a couple of sneak peeks...shhh, just between you and me ;) You’ll be happy to know that we’re all about supporting our fundamental programs and lines while augmenting them with new looks and styles, some even a big, fun step outside the box! Dimensions, for example, is doing really delightful things with felt and felting, and you can watch for releases of those lines in the spring.

From Inkadinkado, you’ll be seeing cling stamps as a new category. These are hybrid stamps that feature the high quality, deep-etched red rubber that you get with wood stamps, and the storage convenience and price value of clear stamps. They are die-cut to shape, and they utilize our clear mounting blocks and cling the same way clear stamps do. Great detail, economical, and compact—the best of both worlds! Available in stores in March.
Also coming from Inkadinkado in the spring is a collection of beautiful photo-realistic wood stamps. The detail and halftone effects enable sophisticated color blending of inks for truly breathtaking results. Look for flowers, foliage, butterflies, and shells in this new collection. Releases in May.
